Apex Legends is still brand-new, but it hasn't wasted any time making its entrance into the esports scene. Last week saw an explosive Twitch Rivals tournament where relative newcomer Dizzy merged as a force to be reckoned with, racking up insane kill totals and carrying big names Ninja and King Richard to victory. We'll see if Dizzy manages to remain one of the most successful players in the game today because there's another tournament happening on Tuesday, February 19. Read on for when and where to watch, who's playing and how they're keeping score.
When is it?
The February 19 tournament is split into two rounds: one for the EU and one for North America. The EU round begins at 12:00 PM Eastern, and the North American round begins at 4:00 PM Eastern.
Where should I watch?
This is an official Twitch production, so the central hub will be the official Twitch Rivals channel. All of the competitors will be carrying the stream on their own channels, however, so if you want to get a laser focus on Dizzy or one of the other players, see what they're up with their own perspective. Or go multi-window on the thing, with another on your phone. In esports you're your own broadcast director.
Who's Playing?
Twitch has announced the roster for both the EU and NA tournaments, and you can see them below:

How Does It Work?
Again, Apex Legends is brand-new and so it does not yet have custom matches, tournament settings or anything like that. As with the early days of Fortnite tournaments, this will be played in a public lobby and scored based on kills and wins. The team with the most points wins, as you might guess, and here's how those points are awarded:
What are the Prizes?
There is $200,000 on the line total, which is a little less than what Amazon and Twitch owner Jeff Bezos has at times this year been making in one minute. That's split between the two tournaments, with money awarded for ranking as well as completing various challenges. For the complete breakdown, you can visit Twitch Rivals' blog.
And that's what we're working with today. Apex Legends already feels like the best battle royale for esports, though it's young yet. Check back in for results.
